"For we walk by faith, not by sight." 2 Corinthians 5:7 (KJV)
I have worked with crisis pregnancy centers for twenty-six years. In the pregnancy ministry, we walk entirely by faith. God supplies all the needs of the center. This past December, the expenses were heavy, and the bank account for the center was low. I try to pay all ministry bills on time, as that honors God. We had three insurances come due at the same time. All the rents for the four ministries were due, along with the regular bills. I went to God, and I said, "Thank you, God, for providing." He told me to write newsletters and share the needs of the center. I sent the newsletter, and I saw God move on His people. God sent $20,000 in ten days! The wonderful thing is that God sent it in many different amounts. I praise God for being an on time God. That was definitely a God Moment.
"Be not ye, therefore, like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of before ye ask Him." Matthew 6:8
The pregnancy centers rely on Christian people to provide for the financial expenses of the center. We take no money from the government. Our mission is to share the love of Jesus with all. One November, times were tight, and I thanked God for providing for the needs of the centers. A soldier and his wife stopped by with diapers and clothes for the babies. Michael handed me an envelope as he left. I finished the night, and I opened the letter when I got home. The letter had a check for $10,000 in it. Thank you, Jesus! Two weeks later they returned and again I was handed a letter. I thought it was a thank you note for a book I had given them. Again, I opened the letter, and once again it was a check for $10,000. Wow, God! That was such a God thing. We serve an awesome God!
